DANCING BELT

It is a competition entry of a National Museum Complex Master plan of Administrative city in Korea. The site is around 190,000 square meter big and located in the spatial axis that connect the Urban Atrium, Urban Symbol Square, the Central Park, etc.. The Dancing Belt is the major circulation axis connecting the clusters of museum on both sides. The layout of the outdoor space for each museum to be built allows the extension of the museum in the future. Sustainable design is adopted in the materplanning such as collection of the rainwater for the irrigation of greenery over the site.
